Learn and share: join our course evaluation panel

Be one of the first to complete and review our new online course for clinicians unfamiliar with requesting genomic testing

Are you a clinician keen to know more about how to order a genomic test for your patients? And would you be willing to share your learning experience?

This autumn, the Genomics Education Programme (GEP) is launching an exciting new online course to help clinicians understand the genomic testing process for rare disease indications.

We are looking for clinicians who are unfamiliar with the testing process to be among the very first to complete the course and provide us with feedback. Your input will inform how we shape the course content for future learners.

What’s involved

This new course presents a comprehensive introduction to genomic testing for rare disease, and covers both the practical aspects and the wider contexts.

It is designed to be taken over two weeks, with around 3-4 hours of learning each week. On completion of the course, you will have the opportunity to obtain a certificate of achievement.

Those who sign up to be course evaluators will be given a set of follow-up evaluation questions, and a payment of £100 will be offered to individuals who complete and submit their full evaluation.

If you would like to join the course evaluation panel, please complete our expression-of-interest form. Or if you have any questions at all, please email the GEP team.
