Webinar to launch new Faculty of Genomic Medicine

Professor Sue Hill will launch a new knowledge sharing professional community on 1st March

The Faculty of Genomic Medicine will bring together genomics specialists working in healthcare, including those who have undertaken the MSc in Genomic Medicine as part of the Genomics Education Programme. It will serve as a forum for clinical champions of genomics and will be a place for sharing ideas and experience to drive advances in genomic medicine in the UK.

The new faculty will be officially launched on 1st March with a webinar led by Professor Sue Hill, NHS England Chief Scientific Officer, Senior Responsible Officer for the 100,000 Genomes Project and Head of the Faculty. This will take place from 13:00-13:45 live but will also be recorded and uploaded to the GEP website.

Professor Hill’s webinar will be the first in a series covering key developments in genomic medicine, both nationally and internationally, that will run until spring 2018.
