GEP to attend Festival of Genomics

Heading to London ExCel on 31st January, the second Festival of Genomics will focus on genomics in the clinic and genetic counselling

HEE’s Genomics Education Programme (GEP) will be joining a host of leading scientists and clinicians to promote the benefits of genomics in healthcare at the upcoming Frontline Festival of Genomics 31st January – 1st February at ExCel in London.

The conference this year is focusing on empowering healthcare and features a keynote address from Professor Sue Hill, who will present an update on the progress of the 100,000 Genomes Project and outline how genomic infrastructure is underpinning the development of personalised medicine across the NHS.

Tickets are free and give visitors access to the exhibition and all the track talks across the two days of the festival. Visit the GEP at stand 28 to learn more about our courses and resources as well as the healthcare curricula work we are involved with.
