GEP team head to Glasgow for ESHG conference

Visit us on stand 510 to find out about our latest activity and plans

The Genomics Education Programme (GEP) Team will be up in Glasgow on 6-9 June for the European Human Genetics Conference, hosted this year by the British Society for Genetic Medicine.

One of our scientific advisers, Dr Anneke Seller, is presenting a poster in the exhibition. The poster outlines the approach the GEP is taking to help ensure the NHS has the capability and capacity to respond to advances in genomic medicine, and our achievements to date.

Also exhibiting at the poster exhibition is Prof Sue Hill, with an overview of the integrated approach to the introduction of genomics into the NHS, spanning the developments around Genomics England and the NHS Genomic Medicine Centres.

In the exhibition hall, the team will also be on stand 510 with a selection of our educational resources on genomics in healthcare, for delegates to browse and take away. We will also be doing demos of our online resources on iPads for anyone keen to know more about our digital activity.

If you’re at ESHG this year, please do pop by the stand and our poster presentation. For those who can’t make it to Glasgow, follow us on Twitter for live updates during the event.
