Progress Educational Trust, in partnership with the Genomics Education Programme, is hosting a public discussion event about genomics, ‘Everything you wanted to know about genomics but were afraid to ask’ at the Science and Industry Museum (Garratt Suite) in Manchester on Wednesday 4th September 2019.

The event aims to raise awareness of genomics in healthcare, and provide some answers to common, and not-so-common, questions about the topic.

Co-chaired by Sarah Norcross and Dr Anneke Seller, the event will also feature speakers including Dr Tara Clancy, Professor Jill Clayton-Smith, Dr Simon Ramsden and 100,000 Genomes Project participant Sabine Starr.

This free event is taking place during NHS England’s Health and Care Innovation Expo, but attendance is open to everyone, including those who do not intend to attend the Expo. Advance registration is required.
