Final 100,000 Genomes Project Eligibility Wheels published

Focused on ophthalmological conditions, this set of reference guides for healthcare professionals is now available to download

The final set of our reference tools for clinicians is now available in our Eligibility Wheels Library, and is focused on ophthalmological disorders:

•         Anterior segment abnormalities

•         Ocular malformations and ocular movement disorders

•         Posterior segment abnormalities

The library covers a range of conditions and is aimed at health professionals within NHS Genomic Medicine Centres and local delivery partners who are recruiting patients to the 100,000 Genomes Project. The wheels have been developed in line with the most recent changes to the project’s eligibility criteria. A number of earlier Eligibility Wheels have also been updated in line with the latest guidelines.

The GEP, in collaboration with University Hospitals Leicester, developed the wheels to support clinicians identifying patients who are eligible for the project.

This set completes the series of 100,000 Genomes Project Eligibility Wheels. As the eligibility criteria changes in the future, the wheels will be updated accordingly.
